Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s STONED

The British tabs are reporting that Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter in the wildly popular film series, recently smoked pot at a party in North London. “He pulled out a huge joint and lit up,” one highwtiness confides. Radcliffe walked around puffing the spliff and telling everyone, “I love weed.”

The party took place in the Camden apartment of Radcliffe’s on-again, off-again girlfriend/actress Laura O’Toole.

“At one point a girl dragged him away, saying, ‘Come on Daniel, follow me,’” the source says. “‘She pulled him into the toilet and started drawing a huge comedy beard on his face.”

Radcliffe’s spokesperson claims the spliff did not contain marijuana: “Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette, but he was not doing anything more than this.”

It was the third marijuana-related incident to involve Harry Potter cast members this year:

Josh Herdman, who plays Gregory Goyle in the Harry Potter series, was photographed in Amsterdam lighting a massive joint. In April, his fellow Potter pothead Jamie Waylett was busted for cultivating cannabis and has since been sentenced to community service.
